Well, the dust is settling after BIO, and I am very happy with the way our event at The Rookery went!! My thanks to you, your chef, and Alex on site - a great team!

As you know, this was a new event for me to plan, and a tricky venue to hold it in! That said, you pulled together the information I needed, and had a great crew of servers on site. I don't think I've ever seen such a helpful core group before!!! The event went very well, the food was available and enjoyed by all, the bars worked out, the staff were great - all our planning paid off!!

Thanks for all your assistance. You were so prompt and reliable, I felt very well attended to! All the best, and perhaps BIO will be back to Chicago soon!

Thank you to Jim, you and the rest of your wonderful staff for helping make the St. Francis 2010 Auction such a great success! We heard nothing but rave reviews about all the food-guests could NOT say enough about the hamburgers and commented on the wonderful assortment of food. Light eaters enjoyed the cheeses and veges while the heavier eaters made a full meal out of the hot apps (even my skinny girlfriends had four a piece!) – the surprise mini hot dogs “hit the spot” for many. As one of the co-chairs put it-the dessert table was as pretty as it was delicious! The servers all had smiles on their faces throughout the night and Alex made a point of asking me my input on several occasions. From the minute I met Jim to the final goodbye to Alex I knew we made the right decision going with Taste America Catering! A special thank you to you, Michael, for making it such a pleasure to work with you!!

Thank you for providing YNPN Chicago’s largest annual event, Celebration, with such excellent service. Last night, with the generous and patient support of Sohana Sarker and the on-site savvy of Alejandro, I happily saw my vision come to fruition.

Over the course of the past year, the scope of this event broadened dramatically and as I waded through the challenges of a dramatically larger and more prominent event, I was grateful to have Ms. Sarker’s consistent support. I found her to be responsive, patient, kind, and professional, with knowledge and experience that made the planning process run much more efficiently.

During the event itself, Alejandro was ever-present, eager to please, and easily capable of ensuring my needs were met. I am writing this letter of reference for Taste America Catering for your consideration. Broadway in Chicago has worked exclusively with this company for a few years now, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with their polished, professional, and courteous service.

Taste America has always presented us with consistent quality of food and service.  Our work with sales consultant Donna Brucks has remained unparalleled in our history; her choreography of even the most nerve-rattling events leaves us assured that no project is too difficult to handle.

Because of the nature of pre-theatre events held in the lobby, timing is critical so an event can be broken down prior to the lobby being opened to the public.  Taste America has always broken down in the allotted time of 15 minutes so we have not had any production delays.  

Taste America is also able to flex its creative muscles to meet our needs. They have created menus to reflect the stage performance, such as an African-themed menu for Lion King and Southern-themed menus for The Color Purple. Events are further personalized to great detail, from décor to suit the performance to menus to suit the client. No creative stone is left unturned.
